Mary is releasing her new CD, Lucy’s Fling!
Please join her for this joyous occasion. Guest vocalist, Sue Medley, cellist Joride Robinson and of course Paul Keim on guitars. Gift basket draws for pre-purchased tickets and of course – loads of frivolity! The Little Red Church is a lovely venue with a warm atmosphere. Mary will have the stage decorated in her usual colourful style. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
These new songs have a unique design. Mary has taken many traditional melodies and written lyrics with a two returning characters. There are also a few traditional songs as well as a song in the Scottish language (for all you out there with Scottish roots).
Sue Medley will be the featured guest vocalist. Though she and Mary have very different musical backgrounds, their voices blend as though fairy dust has been sprinkled over them.
Cellist Jordie Robinson will be adding his finesse on cello for several pieces and is a player on the new CD.
Of course, Paul Keim, fabulous guitarist, will be on all manner of guitars and was the producer of this release. This was recorded at Paul and Mary’s recording studio, Dove Creek Recording Studio.
